Black Mesa: Source is a Half-Life 2 Total Conversion which is a re-development of Half-Life. Built on the Source engine, Black Mesa: Source is what many hoped/expected Half-Life: Source to be. The development team behind this modification is a third party and not associated with Valve Software. Many techniques are being utilized in order to create the Black Mesa the way it was meant to be seen: in full Source power.
Black Mesa: Source will not require Half-Life: Source to play: only a working and legitimate copy of Half-Life 2 and will also be a free download for all. More information, media and frequent updates can be seen on our website.
