This one is mega easy, so who volunteers to get it up? I do so far, but unless anyone wanted to do it before me. Right now I've experimented with using ven larger than normal Fizzler's.--Gear 23:29, 13 Nov 2007 (PST)
- This ones all your's, go nuts! :P --Remmiz 23:47, 13 Nov 2007 (PST)
- Well if you aren't gonna do it, I can do it pretty quick... --Remmiz 09:11, 16 Nov 2007 (PST)
- Whoops sorry, haha, I'll get on it right now.--Gear 18:13, 16 Nov 2007 (PST)
I've tried it; Easy to understand and impliment; however, I forgot to tick Physical objects in the flag, so I've added a reminder in so no one else does this aswell. On a side note, Ingame, if you take a radio through; the music fades out. However, in a normal fizzler like this one the music stops abruptly; I haven't had chance to work-around this yet, so maybe someone could add that in? --Kdapro 10:44, 17 Nov 2007 (PST)
Particles
Why do the fizzler particles sometimes go through walls? It looks very unnatural. --Darthkillyou 20:27, 21 Nov 2007 (PST)
- Particle effects are pre-programmed to go a certain distance and the cleanser effect just so happens to be a little more than 128 units wide (normal hallway width). --Remmiz 22:22, 21 Nov 2007 (PST)
The particles actually go more than 170-ish units before disappearing... I'd say a little less than 200 units. --Darthkillyou
- I think you just answered your own question :P --Remmiz 21:23, 22 Nov 2007 (PST)
- Is there some kind of workaround for this? Say shortening the length of the particles? --Darthkillyou 13:31, 23 Nov 2007 (PST)
- Not unless you edit the particle definition. There is no way to control it via the info_particle_system
