Using the fast-action rocket launcher enjoyment Id Software's Quake coupled with the gameplay style of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros., this mod certainly puts a twist to original Half-life 2 Deathmatch. Players are equip with an unlimited ammo rocket launcher and a jetpack with limited but gradually restoring aux power. Everyone starts out with a number of lives and players try to blast each other off the levels with their rocket launchers. The object of the game is to hit each other off the map, and the last person standing wins (just like super smash bros). A player can only die from falling off the map and not from enemy rocket fire, but if you do get hit by a rocket or the splash damage of a rocket your life will go down. The least life you have the farther you fly when hit by a rocket. | |||
