Left 4 Dead is an upcoming co-operative multiplayer zombie/survival horror game by Valve. The game uses the Source engine.
Release dates
Playable Demo
- Early access to the demo for those who pre-ordered the game begins November 6
- The full public release is scheduled for November 11
- Access to the demo is set to conclude on November 18
Steam:
- Left4Dead will ship worldwide on Steam on November 18th.
Retail:
- In the US:
- The product will ship to stores on the 17th.
- It will be in boutique stores on the 18th.
- The mass merchant US stores will have it on the 19th.
- In the rest of the World:
- The product will be available on Friday, Nov 21.
Gameplay
There are four playable human characters, and, in addition to computer-controlled zombies, a further four playable zombie characters (the Infected).
