In Source SDK Base 2007 Source SDK Base 2007, if a player is damaged by an NPC or kills an NPC, a white particle orb may appear at the center of the map. (i. e. 0,0 or x=0 y=0)

The game framerate will slowly drop, which is determined by how close you are to the particle (or if you zoom at it).
