npc_houndeye is the conjectured name of a scrapped NPC in Half-Life 2. While no LINK_ENTITY_TO_CLASS() exists for the entity, the CNPC_Houndeye class still exists in the publicly released Source SDK, largely unaltered from its Half-Life: Source counterpart.
Todo: In addition to providing the model from
Half-Life: Source, some minor code modifications are necessary to get the houndeye working correctly in
Half-Life 2. Document these.
