| 1 = {{u|THE OWL}} and {{u|Max34}} have done more on this wiki than the rest of us, so let them continue their work. In fact, {{u|THE OWL}} created this page. I believe there is no point in trying to impose your own rules. Perhaps the new design is ambiguous, but it definitely can be improved, and trying to force your own interpretation is wrong and one-sided. Since I am against this, I am in favor of a new design from these editors. I've reverted your changes, and I hope you don't mind. | | 1 = {{u|THE OWL}} and {{u|Max34}} have done more on this wiki than the rest of us, so let them continue their work. | 1 = Why are so many of you so supportive of Valve? They have openly abandoned this wiki (outdated mediawiki base...); if it weren't for the community, this wiki would have turned into trash a long time ago. I don't want to say anything, but Valve doesn't even initiate the banal issuance of administrator rights for active members. We should appreciate those enthusiasts who do this. They do it out of their own time and effort to improve the wiki. It's not right to dismiss their contributions just because "I THINK THIS IS TERRIBLE." It also seems two-faced that you're reverting to the community version when you could just revert to the very first edit. When did that first appear? | |||

Don't start a new war
(using Template:Message) The Main Page has recently become what it is, thanks to the community. The original page gives absolutely nothing to the user, especially to a beginner. Most of the main page content was not added by Valve, so we have the right to completely redesign it. I have temporarily removed some of the islands we have added (one panel and a table), but I am not going to ruin the user experience, I just want to make it so that even a person who understands little about development can easily find any information (for this I created new islands and made everything more compact) that the original main the page does not provide.
As I said earlier, what you returned was added by community quite recently. The original page contains only a few links, so this thought of yours is strange. --THE OWL (talk) 18:10, 30 Apr 2024 (UTC)
(using Template:Message) THE OWL and Max34 have done more on this wiki than the rest of us, so let them continue their work. In fact, THE OWL created this page. --NOUG4AT (talk) 18:31, 30 Apr 2024 (UTC)
