THIS BOT IS NOT PERFECT
While I am doing my best to account for all possible shenanigans a 15 year old wiki worked on by 51,135 users can throw at the bot, sometimes pages updated to {{Multipage}} WILL have weird/incorrect formatting. However, small, easily and quickly fixable formatting errors are 100% worth it considering the amount of time saved by automating this. There are over 2000 pages using {{lang}}, which would take an eternity to update by hand. There is nothing I can do about this, other than make the bot sentient I guess...

Note:Some pages may temporarily... disappear... but should only be temporarily! This happens because the bot uses a list of pages using lang to determine which pages to update, but sometimes pages just... wont be in the retrieved list? And if that happens to be an old language subpage then it will disappear into a purgatory. This however shouldn't be a problem! I can simply retrieve the list of pages using lang after every run, which should take care of any stray pages

Purpose

The current purpose of this bot is to transition pages using {{lang}} to {{multipage}},work should begin on approximately January 5-6th Work has already begun, and should hopefully be finished within the next day or so.

General information

• When was this bot created? This bot was created on Jan 1st, 2024.
• Why the name WisdomBot? Because it's like Wisdurm but not? Idk I had to come up with something...
• Why is there an emergency shutoff? While I can shut down the bot literally just by closing the program, it will most likely run without supervision quite often, and in case I do not notice anything, the button allows other users on this wiki to make it stop.
• Are logs stored? Yes, most actions (all large edit sprees) are logged onto my computer. If you would like to request a log, just leave a message. How useful these logs are is an entirely different question.

Past edits

As of writing (since there is no way to update this in real time) this bot has made 1457 edits, which is a lot more than I've made on my main account...

• This bot has succesfully updated all pages using {{entity}}, {{format}}, {{Base brush multi}}, {{Base point multi}}, {{Brush ent}} and {{Point ent}}, as well as all their derivatives like {{hl2 point}}, to use {{this is a}}.
• This bot has with the help of Thunder4ik, moved all pages from Category:Level Design Tutorials to Category:Level_Design

How is this bot operated?

This bot utilizes the DotNetWikiBot Framework. I run it on my personal computer, just as an exe file.
