This article reviews and compares several map decompilers for the GoldSrc engine. Will introduce 5 decompilers:
- Decompiler 005
 - WinBSPC
 - BSP2MAP
 - Unified SDK Map Decompiler
 - MBSPC

Map converters such as Crafy and BSPViewer will not be introduced because they are not efficient in producing a quality source file.
4 maps were chosen for decompilation:
- bb_chp1_heavensgate from Brain Bread
 - op4ctf_power from Opposing Force
 - cz_silo02 from Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Deleted Scenes.
 - rock2 from Team Fortress: Classic
