The Vortex Engine (Vengence χ Engine) is a third-party,open-source modification to the {{Source|4|nt=1}} [[Source 2013|2013 Branch]] with support for {{src13mp|4}} engine branch and singleplayer support (note that the engine is still in heavy development) it is a customized  engine branch with advanced graphics, the developer (GuestSneezeOSDev) gained much more knowledge while working on the engine, which allowed for more improvements
