-I think the new name is partly to avoid the ''Attack of the Colons'' endemic in games right now. ''Half-Life'' was just ''Half-Life'', the sequel was ''Half-Life 2'' (and not ''Half-Life 2: The Sequel'') and the first episode of the episodic content is ''Half-Life 2: Episode 1'' instead of ''Half-Life 2: Episode 1: Let's Get: Another Colon In: This Time It's Personal''.
