This entity is obsolete. Its use is discouraged. It may only exist/function in older engine branches.
vgui_mp_lobby_display is a point entity available in 
Portal 2. It appears to be a leftover from a course selection screen present in an old version of the co-op hub. A commented out entry for it in vgui_screens.txt reveals that it would have been an interactive VGUI screen, but the clientside code for this has been removed, so the entity does not function.
