Witch Bride precaching
I tried creating a reslist with the commands found in Content Streaming and added the witch bride assets to the my <map name>.lst. It has failed to be able to spawn a witch_bride. Have you had any success with this? What process did you go through to get it to work? --ThaiGrocer 21:49, 13 September 2011 (PDT)
- I've tried many times throughout the year but no luck, sadly. I thought maybe the stringtable dictionary and that was no go. It's not a big deal, but I always thought an answer to this problem might lead to other things involving models, etc. Many thanks for your time. I'm sure there will be an answer eventually! --ThaiGrocer 16:44, 15 September 2011 (PDT)
certain edits
Noticed you are making edits which remove spaces from headlines with == ==. Just noting that am I am semi-regularly making edits doing the opposite i.e adding the space there. Not gonna say it must be one way or another but it doesn't affect the visuals of the page so would be good to only make such edits only when alongside other edits that somehow affect the page. Similar to links that have _ in them but also specify alt-name. There is no difference visually between [[Left 4 Dead 2|altname]] and [[Left_4_Dead_2|altname]] --Nescius (talk) 11:01, 9 September 2024 (PDT)
- I hear ya, I'll leave that stuff be if I don't have anything notable to change. --Breakin' Benny (talk) 11:05, 9 September 2024 (PDT)
minor edits
Hi Breakin' Benny! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typographical error or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. --Nescius (talk) 06:26, 19 February 2025 (PST)
- That must've been for item_armor... and the fictional weapon names in CS prior to CS:GO. Yeah, those doesn't look minor at all. My bad. --Breakin' Benny (talk) 06:33, 19 February 2025 (PST)
- Yea. I am just spreading awareness of what minor edits are because in theory you should be able to hide minor edits while in Special:RecentChanges and not miss any actual information that was added --Nescius (talk) 06:46, 19 February 2025 (PST)
