Template talk:Stub

This is the discussion page of Template:Stub. To add a comment, use the Edit button near the headline of the appropriate section. To create a new section, you can use the Add topic button at the top of this page.

subcategorizing stubs

I've been thinking of either adding a parameter to this template to allow the text and categorization to be more specific (i.e. {{stub|category=command}} would place a page in a new category, Category:Console command stubs, and read "This console command article is a stub. You can help by adding to it."), or making new templates to do the same (i.e. creating {{command stub}} for the same purpose). The latter is more easily expandable if there ends up being many different categories, while the former can be translated much more easily.
