Is there a tool that does this process in reverse? Obviously Faceposer itself can rebuild a scenes.image file, but sometimes it's a bit overkill to fire up a whole choreography tool just to add a couple of loose VCD files.

Example: the Black Mesa mod community has created a number of user mods of the base BMS mod, and any Black Mesa mods that alter scenes.image ultimately cannot be played together due to choreography conflicts. The only solution is to ask players of the mod to fire up Faceposer itself to rebuild scenes.image, or for the mod developers to create a gigantic redundant scenes.image file that is compatible with all existing Black Mesa mods. Since the latter is unsustainable, it would be nice to have a public tool that ISN'T Faceposer that could help mod players rebuild the scenes.image file upon the installation of a mod that requires choreography. --dky (talk) 23:36, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

No response files parsing

Multiplayer games like TF2 and CS:GO rely on response files on 'scenes/talker' directory instead of using maplists.

Parsing on response files is not implemented Unsigned comment added by ‎MrSoup678 (talkcontribs). Please use four tildes (~~~~) to sign your username.
