Wow. Christopher Walken is creepy. --Campaignjunkie 15:00, 21 Jul 2005 (PDT)

I concur Pon
Why is Christopher Walken even shown? The voice of Gman was done by Michael Shapiro, Frank Sheldon was the reference for Gman. --wisemx 05:46, 25 Jul 2005 (PDT)
Look at him! If you didn't know the actual references, you'd swear he was based on Walken. --Charron 05:54, 25 Jul 2005 (PDT)
Even if they resemble each other it's confusing to post his image here plus it may pose a legal problem. --wisemx 06:05, 25 Jul 2005 (PDT)
Is it illegal to confuse people now? Anyway, yes, a link to an off-site picture would probably be much more appropriate - you could easily get the impression that Walken is based off of, or is going to play, the G-man, just because he has a suit and black hair. (It's not that similar.) --Andreasen 20:45, 7 Apr 2006 (PDT)
Look at them?! The both have the same suit, the same type of hair, the same expression (if you imagin the 'real-life'-picture to be smiling, it would be exactly the same...) And there eyebrows both point downwards at the end, they both have the same 'I-haven't-slept-for-a-year'-look in there eyes. --CrabbyData 06:26, 14 May 2006 (PDT)
I'd say he looks like G-Man from HL1. Prase
This is rather junk. This photo is at no point related to the npc_gman entity so it is more a "fan content" that may be placed on some fan website but not on a developer community portal. Please don't make this site some "wow I think the gman is a flying saucer" website for 13 yers old kids. This should be about facts and halp in development, not about what amazed you in the look of some unrelated guy. Many people wear suits and many people wear ties, but this doesn't mean their pictures should be placed here. Please remove that picture.--FALCO 11:26, 14 Jul 2007 (PDT)

falco, please don't insult 13 year olds. they are only trying to express there thoghts in a mature (or atleast whats mature to them) way. as for removing it, however, I agree (althogh hes face might be used for the Gmans... im gonna check the credits for hl2 again) --Lazy genius 12:39, 17 Jul 2008 (PDT)

Availability

To use this NPC in a mod, do you actually need to have HL2, Ep1, or Ep2 installed, or will any Source engine game allow you to use it by virtue of being in "source models.gcf"? (I bet I'm totally misinterpreting that ...) —Yar Kramer 00:41, 17 Nov 2007 (PST)

Never mind; since the game I was modding was an Orange Box game, and Source 2007 has its own "shared models" GCF, the answer is "you only need one Orange Box game installed." (I uninstalled every single game except Portal, then loaded a Portal map with the G-Man in it.) &mdashYar Kramer 11:08, 17 Nov 2007 (PST)

Strange flag

In d1_canals_01, in the room used to show the Gman for a moment, a flag after "ignore player push" called "????" in hammer, is set, What does that do? --RandomCatDude (talk) 13:53, 5 December 2018 (UTC)

???? comes up when there's a flag the fgd doesnt know about Loudslappingsounds (talk) 03:10, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
Yes, but what does it change in-game? --RandomCatDude (talk) 14:40, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
