Does this page need more material? should completely oppose its approach at explain mixing content only for mods and how it's fine if the content is left in its original package (GCF)—ts2do 19:28, 10 Apr 2006 (PDT)

It is possible to mix content and have it downloaded from Steam when needed. Garry's Mod does this. --TomEdwards 23:38, 10 Apr 2006 (PDT)

How do you make that work? Does it need coding? - RodeoClown 03:10, 11 Apr 2006 (PDT)

There's a specific function in filesystem that needs to be called on client/server dll init—ts2do 06:49, 11 Apr 2006 (PDT)
Some jackass made the article a negative of what is actually meant. eg "This is more important when making a singleplayer mod...", "It is advisable to mix game content"

I'm going to look at the history to see who did this, but I've fixed it for the time being. --JeffMOD 17:56, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

It Seems to have been Crysisking ownage922, but that doesn't mean it was him. The recent pages lists him as being the last editor, and there wasn't a summary, and the last edit by a different author looks legit. --JeffMOD 18:00, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Anyone know where to find a guide *on* mixing content? I'm at a loss --Overwatch 20:50, 27 April 2010 (PDT)

Page feels confusing.

The page feels convoluted. I'm unsure if it's just me though. - Amicdict (talk) 16:58, 12 September 2021 (PDT)
