Talk:Hammer Carve Command Usage
I wonder if there some way to work my kitten into this article :)Angry Beaver 19:52, 9 Jan 2006 (PST)
- Update, your cat matured and is now showing Source mappers how the Carve tool can actually be used safely.
lol, I used to carve (cylinders! :O)... hope I didn't kill too many kittens... :'( --Darthkillyou 21:50, 28 Aug 2007 (PDT)
Aye how many times did ye carve? poor kittens.--Gear 22:02, 28 Aug 2007 (PDT)
I don't get why CARVE is such a bad tool? If you use it Correctly it should work just fine :\ --Frostbite 04:51, 29 Aug 2007 (PDT)
- Because it's a dangerous tool that can easily lead to "unknown lumps" errors and other unwanted brush divisions. Though it can probably be used responsibly, it's safer to make a habit of avoiding it. (Edit: I'm not telling people to avoid it. I'm just saying that it's safer to avoid it. As long as you know what you're doing, go ahead and use it to your hearts content.) --Andreasen 05:53, 29 Aug 2007 (PDT)
Mainly if you can, just stick to the cutting tool rather than carve.--Gear 05:59, 29 Aug 2007 (PDT)
I always liked this article for teaching people the rights and wrongs of carving/clipping. --Daedalus 08:19, 29 Aug 2007 (PDT)
