Talk:Creating Brush Entities
Page name
As has just been pointed out on the French talk page, calling this page Creating Primitives isn't very accurate. Primitives only appears once in all Source development, and this page is actually talking about creating brush entities. Unless there's some reason for the page's name to be as it is, a move is in order... --TomEdwards 21:11, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, Hammer refers to the creation of primitives as types of brush shapes that can be created. It is a distinct concept. I agree that this page does not really describe that concept and is misnamed as part of the first map tutorial. Something like "Creating a Brush Entity" seems more appropriate in this context. These pages should probably have prefixing like the Left 4 Dead map tutorial, as their more generic names suggests they might be redundant with other pages on the site that present much of the same information, but in reference form. They are meant to be in a tutorial series, not reference at all. --JeffLane 00:31, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Question : About "Snap from Grid"
Hello ! I was wondering : why shouldn't we disable snapping ? (<< If Hammer’s grid is too large to get down to 16 units, press [ or click Smaller Grid Hammer to scale it down. Never disable snapping unless you really, really need to! >>) --AnotherTSPFan (Talk) 16:56, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
