Season 6: HECU Season 6: HECU is an update for Half-Life: Cross Product Multiplayer Half-Life: Cross Product Multiplayer. The update was released on August 28, 2021 and was succeeded by Season 7: Black Ops Season 7: Black Ops. Work had began on Season 6 content circa May 2021. The Season's name is referential to the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit, a fictional detachment within the US Military, and an enemy you fight in Half-Life Half-Life.

Although The Phoenix Project Software The Phoenix Project Software refers to earlier updates as such, Season 6 was the first update to be labelled a "season," with every update afterwards having a much longer development time.

Season 6 had a heavy focus on content from and inspired by Half-Life: Opposing Force Half-Life: Opposing Force.
