Grey Source was a codebase framework for mods on the 
GoldSrc engine, created by 
The Phoenix Project Software. It was created in 2019 with an updated version, Grey Source 2021, having been created in 2020. Grey Source 2019 was used for Lost and Dead Classic and Grey Source 2021 was used for early prototype builds of 
Half-Life: Cross Product. Since late 2020, it has been discontinued. It was succeeded by 
Aura, which was released in 2021 and used by Half-Life: Cross Product Multiplayer.
