env_particle_performance_monitor is a point entity available in all Source Source games. It is used for turning on and off measuring and display of particle throughput.

Turn on display of particle simulation benchmark.
TurnOffDisplay
Turn off display of particle simulation benchmark.
StartMeasuring
Start measuring particle simulation speed.
StopMeasuring
Stop measuring particle simulation speed.
