Purge the base

Counter-Strike was ported to Xbox by Ritual Entertainment in 2003. This is the only GoldSrc game ported to the platform.

The game runs on the modified version of GoldSrc with features such as: Detailed textures (later introduced to CS:CZ), Dynamic iris simulation (similar to HDR Rendering).

The texture and assets are later reused in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero.

Intense Xbox Live Multiplayer Action

• Battle real players throughout the world with Xbox Live, while strategizing and communicating with up to 16 players via the Xbox *Live Communicator headset.

Trivia
