Arena (level design)
Not to be confused with The Team Fortress 2 game mode.
An arena is any area that a player will spend a significant amount of time in, with a significant amount of combat.
Notable examples:
- The antlion tunnels in Episode Two, defending Alyx.
- The 3 very long waiting periods in Entanglement.
- The plaza with the power generator in Anticitizen One.
