Template:Note
If the border is removed...it may be harder to tell when a note ends—ts2do 23:50, 30 Mar 2006 (PST)
- Maybe add a slight indent then. Jupix 00:04, 31 Mar 2006 (PST)
- This is true, I didn't take it into consideration. However, most notes are short and they don't need the complete width of a page, making the border look ridiculous.
- Maybe we can make the complete note italic ? I think it's correct use of italic formation because a note is more important than other things. --Vaarscha 00:05, 31 Mar 2006 (PST)
- But is it really more important? After all, it's just a note - an appendix to another paragraph, appendix which tells the reader something about the subject matter, something that doesn't deserve an equal looking paragraph of its own (although most notes would).
- Simply put, I'd consider italic for template:warning but not for notes. Just my $0.02. Jupix 03:10, 31 Mar 2006 (PST)
- I'm fine the way it is. I was just doing my post at the same time you did yours, but you did submit it before me. I decided to put my stuff up anyway. However, I think I have to disagree with your definition of a note. A note shouldn't go into an equal paragraph because it's meant to caught the eye of the reader. A note should be something important, a common mistake, etc. It's highlighted so people notice it, even if they are only briefly reading the article. --Vaarscha 04:07, 31 Mar 2006 (PST)
