Andrew, you've added this "technical limitations" category to all the entity pages. I assume it's because the page titles are initial-capped instead of lowercase. I don't see what the problem is, since you can still do lowercase links (info_node) and the links resolve fine. What's your proposed solution? You can't rename pages using the move command from an uppercase page to a lowercase page with the same name. --JeffLane 20:39, 9 Jul 2005 (PDT)
- It's mostly a habit from other Wikis. It isn't the caps in the title, it's the underscore, and it's not the link resolution, it's how it displays at the top of the page. Info node is not the name of the article, info_node is. It isn't nessicary, but it just makes people aware of the technicial limitation MediaWiki has with underscores in the title, since it's not possible. --AndrewNeo 09:40, 10 Jul 2005 (PDT)
- OK, I understand your point. However, we should probably find another solution, as this template is very obtrusive and makes it look like every page should be corrected, when in fact, they cannot be. Since most of the entities also list the name of the entity under the entity description, in practical terms, the notice about the title seems unnecessary. The solution may be that every entity needs to have the entity name included. --JeffLane 11:41, 10 Jul 2005 (PDT)
- That'd work too. I just used what I had seen used in other Wikis with underscores in the title. --AndrewNeo 22:32, 10 Jul 2005 (PDT)

Nice job with the document conversions. --JeffLane 11:27, 6 Jul 2005 (PDT)
- Thanks, though the image with tables around them need to be fixed up a bit. --AndrewNeo 11:37, 6 Jul 2005 (PDT)
- I found that it looked best when I added proper wiki captions like the ones I added on this page instead of relying on the tables to add the captions like we did in the HTML version. You still need to use tables to have multiple images together (which is also in the ladders example. It's a little more work, but they look good.
- For example:
{| border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 | [[Image:hammer_ladders5.jpg|frame|left|Fig. 2a - In-game visualization]] | [[Image:hammer_ladders6.jpg|frame|left|Fig. 2b - End point stuck in floor]] |}
- There's also a special line break you can use that prevents text from continuing to flow around the image:
<br style="clear:both" />
Which would be at the end of the text that goes along with the images. You can see one of those right before the "Testing" header on the Ladders page. It prevents the Testing section from flowing alongside the previous image. --JeffLane 12:32, 6 Jul 2005 (PDT)- Added that in, looks excellent. Thanks! --AndrewNeo 12:48, 6 Jul 2005 (PDT)

Andrew, do you find yourself singing "I was born, in Saginaw Michigan"? I grew up in Detroit, reside in Tennessee. --wisemx 17:57, 6 Jul 2005 (PDT)
- Ha. No. The only reason I've ever even heard of that song is because of one of those music CD commercials on TV. Not old enough to know it. --AndrewNeo 18:04, 6 Jul 2005 (PDT)
