The delete tags are there so admins can see what pages are potentially worth deleting. As such, when marking a page for potential deletion, it's important that you leave the rest of the content intact. It defeats the purpose of the templates if you've already removed all the content yourself beforehand. Obviously the situation here has been rectified, but it's worth repeating anyway. --Graham 14:53, 2 Sep 2005 (PDT)

I was in a peculiarly ebullient mood, so running roughshod across wiki traditions I did what I though sensible in the face of what I thought was some clever, insidious advertising. But, of course, I was wrong, and it was merely our Great Prophet showing pride in his latest hardware acquisition. And wikis record all mistakes, so I can never forget this, ever! ... ;-) --Cargo Cult 15:19, 2 Sep 2005 (PDT)
It's a common mistake I've seen others make, so I thought I should comment on it :). People are all, *deletes all the content*, and then, "Hey, should someone delete this stuff?" It's like, you know, apparently someone already did. --Graham 17:47, 2 Sep 2005 (PDT)
