A cool idea: The player can use the gravity gun to pull the barnacle tongue, and shoot the barnacle tongue at enemies to pull them up and kill them (like the tire swing on Highway 17). Unfortunately I think the tongue is part of the model, but I'm sure a creative programmer (or maybe Valve!) could turn it into a physics-rope thing.
