Template:Otherlang2 3D Studio Max est un des plus beau & puissant logiciel de l'art graphique virtuel. Accessible à tous, efficace ainsi que performant. Une boite à outils garnis, ce qui fait le charme. Discreet, une division Autodesk, rend le programme utile pour multiples utilisations (jeux vidéo, commercial, films, ect ...). Il dispose aussi de plusieurs produit livré avec comme la modélisation polygonale, la modélisation NURBS & le "patch modeling".
Une version nommé Gmax devait être spécialement faite pour être gratuit & aidé les débutants à créer diverses choses (principalement pour le modding en jeu). Projet abandonné en cours.
