Left 4 Dead 2 is an upcoming sequel to Valve's original multiplayer zombie/survival horror game, Left 4 Dead. After heavy initial critique of the prequel regarding lack of content, Valve promised to continuously extending the game, as seen with Team Fortress 2, which let to further criticism when Valve announced Left 4 Dead 2.

Demo

A demo was set for release on October 27, but has due to several delays, presumably caused by unforeseen technical inadequacies at Valve, yet to be made available. A list of planned release times can be found below.

  2. October 27, 10 PM (UTC). Presumably announced during this date.
  3. October 28, 7 AM*. Announced shortly before 10 PM.
  4. October 28, 9 PM*. First announcement time unknown.
  5. October 28, 10 PM*. Announced minutes before 9 PM.
  6. October 28, 11 PM*. Announced minutes before 10 PM.
  • Local time; the game was and is according to these announcements to be released at different times to match the same time of day around the world.
