r_radialfog_force is a console variable available in Half-Life 2 series Half-Life 2 series, Portal Portal, and Team Fortress 2 branch Team Fortress 2 branch.

Force-on toggle for testing radial fog on/off. This is not a cheat, and it designed for it the client wants the new behavior on old maps.

This command is introduced in Half-Life 2 series since 20th Anniversary Update, and later available in Portal since May 20, 2025. It is also available in all games on Team Fortress 2 branch since Feb 18, 2025.

Values:
-1: Default 0: Force off 1: Force on
Radial fog disabled (using planar-based fog). Radial fog enabled.
