I dont know what does it mean, and in the Valve Developer Community never talks about it.

"Sidekick" and "Vortigaunt" formation settings

I've tested these using npc_alyx. And it appears that both of these settings make the NPC follow their target close enough to sometimes trigger the "move out of the way" behavior, even when moving away from their direction.

What does "Maximum State" ConVar mean?

I dont know what does it mean, and in the Valve Developer Community never talks about it.
