:alpha = features to come. beta = feature complete. every mod needs BOTH words: 1:alpha,beta or final, 2:released or not released. [[User:Leopard84|Leopard84]] 00:54, 28 Mar 2007 (PDT) |

Why do they call it alpha version? Mods shouldn't have alpha/beta versions, they should only two versions - Not released and Released. There is no point saying "this is an alpha version so expect many bugs", it's not like that in 2 month, a commercial version will come out... If for some reason they insist on using those terms, it should be something like this: 1. Alpha - Still a major WIP, most features/art/maps are not yet done 2. Beta - Most major features/art/maps are done, currently doing internal testings 3. Gold - Released.--RP 15:49, 12 Jan 2007 (PST)
