Ep.1 specific details are starting to get added to entity pages, but I haven't seen any discussion about what standards to apply to this info to ensure that it isn't [http://developer.valvesoftware.com/w/index.php?title=Npc_strider&curid=2800&diff=39828&oldid=39825&rcid=47862 confusingly mixed] in with current HL2 settings. One solution is already being used [[Npc_citizen#New_inputs_for_Episode_One|here]] successfully. Another solution that occurs to me is to create a template like {{HL2}}, say <code><nowiki>{{episodic}}</nowiki></code>, and use that next to each extra entry. Yet another possibility is that maybe Ep1 mods will be backwards compatible with HL2, in the same way that HL2 mods are forwards compatible with Ep1 (though that seems unlikely), and so the whole issue will be moot.

Standards for adding Ep.1 content to entity pages?

Ep.1 specific details are starting to get added to entity pages, but I haven't seen any discussion about what standards to apply to this info to ensure that it isn't confusingly mixed in with current HL2 settings. One solution is already being used here successfully. Another solution that occurs to me is to create a template like Half-Life 2, say {{episodic}}, and use that next to each extra entry. Yet another possibility is that maybe Ep1 mods will be backwards compatible with HL2, in the same way that HL2 mods are forwards compatible with Ep1 (though that seems unlikely), and so the whole issue will be moot.
