'''FixVTF''' is a {{wiki|data conversion}} program written by [[User:Snakez|Snakez]]. It converts Episode 2 format ([[VTF]] 7.3/7.4) materials to the previous {{hl2ep1|4}} ([[VTF]] 7.2 and older) format. {{hammer4|4}} used {{hl2ep1|4}} format materials, models and maps until the official release of the Orange Box on October 10, 2007, after which point FixVTF became essentially obsolete. For some years this program was not available for direct download.
