Prerequisites
VTFEdit https://valvedev.info/tools/vtfedit/
Exporting From Source 1
Open VTFEdit. Find the material you want to port to Source 2 (will be in source 1's .Vtf format). Open it in VTFEdit (by file open, or by dragging it onto VTFEdits window) Export to .Tga to your Source 2 Materals Folder.
Importing Into Source 2
Open The Material Editor. Create new materal. Save with name of the wanted material. Apply the .Tga format to the color field (also any normal or bump maps you also exported for that texture) save
Now you have your Source 1 material in Source 2
