Are you sure they're bits? I think they're called bytes...—ts2do 13:01, 5 Feb 2006 (PST)
- Yup, my mistake.
now that there's a wildcard version, should we have ONLY that version up here? coz having both seems redundant...if you want, you can upload the wildcard one to 3dwire: http://www.plastic-warfare.com/files/vice.zip —ts2do 17:35, 5 Feb 2006 (PST)
- I prefer using it with the perl script myself, but perhaps integrate changes into the original?

Copyright on FriendsManager
I don't really understand what you mean when you have put a "copyright, all rights reserved" notice at the top of the code on that page. Surely by putting it on the Wiki, you expect people to copy and use it? Do you mean that people should only read it for learning purposes, then write their own equivalent? Do you mean that people should ask before using it in their mods? That they should acknowledge you in their credits? Etc. Perhaps you could clarify on the page. :) --Giles 03:08, 2 Jul 2006 (PDT)
- Your probably right, I am not very good with copyrights and well, if I put code onto this wiki is it intended as Public Domain. So Basically, mods are free to use them within their own code without obligation to submit updated code back or anything. But it would be nice to have bugfixes/additions to posted code if there are any. Scott Loyd 12:57, 2 July 2006
