What the heck does this bot do? First he posts the usual spam, then he deletes the complete article!?!

How would I restore the article to a previous version? Normally, I'd just mark and delete the spam... but now I gotta get the old text from somewhere. The diff is not helpful. I guess there's a handy wiki-function for that I'm missing, plz help me out. --Vaarscha 10:41, 21 Mar 2006 (PST)

I don't know what the logic behind the bot's actions is, but about reverting them: just dig up the last good version from the page history, click edit while displaying it, then save. That's it. Jupix 11:00, 21 Mar 2006 (PST)

Thanks. I think the bot is trying to do a poor imitation of a spam remover, or perhaps expects some anti-spam program to automatically revert the page back the spammers first spam entry. --Andreasen 11:12, 21 Mar 2006 (PST)
