Hammer Configuration
I just installed Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools and tried to run Hammer but it just tells me that "gameinfo.exe" does not exist in the subdirectory of "vconfig.exe". I tried manually configuring it myself. When i finish and hit apply it just doesnt save anything and the same problem pops up.
Can anyone help me out with what to do to solve this annoying problem.
- This question is probably asked every time this question is asked, but it must be answered: Did you run Left 4 Dead 2 before starting the Authoring tools? You could try building your own gameinfo.txt by checking this page out. —Mattshu 21:02, 18 January 2012 (PST)
- Yeah I did play it before loading it. As for making the file, I found one online and put it in my bin folder and tried opening it, but it just half opened hammer and closed. How do I put it in the "vconfig.exe"? (Grusumgorila 09:24, 19 January 2012 (PST))
