If anyone is curious. I'm developing a Portal Map. While I'm at it I'm going to work on these wiki pages. I'm currently putting all my wiki work in my user area at User:Rockn-Roll/Beginner Portal Map Tutorial. Right now I'm rewriting the tutorial as is...no changes except to, hopefully, improve the content with images and grammar. I hope to get some advice from other wiki editors/users to update the existing pages with what I put together.

So far, it seems very likely that the beginner Portal Map Tutorial page should be stripped of all the Hammer tool descriptions and basic room creation sections and instead...links provided for the user to go to first to create a basic map, then return to the Portal Tutorial for Portal specific guidance. At the same time, I don't think we want to lose the content and may want to fit some of it into the existing basic map tutorial.
