Hey there! Name's Winter. Yes. As in the season. I am a former Vocals Student of Thames Valley University/ University of West London, and have minor experience in graphic/ level design. I have always had a great interest in voice acting and, as such, am willing to put my services up for the Valve Developer Community. I am perfectly happy trying out any role and have no problems if you wish for me to sit here and shout abuse into my mic if that's what you require. n.n
Naturally, I have a general, English accent and am relatively well-spoken. As such, roles fitting this description are most suitable, however, I can be sinister, comedic and aggressive if necessary. I have a relatively wide vocal range from exceptionally deep to medium-high tones and am capable of doing clearly enunciated voices for annoucments, and distorted/unnatural voices (demonic voices, "gollum" style voices, stupidly high pitched or "chipmunky" voices etc...). I am willing to give pretty anything a go if I feel I can do it well.
I am also up for any singing that may be required, but this is a little more complex and would require more in-depth detail as to what is needed and more time on my part to complete.
I will see about uploading some voice samples and linking them on this page at some point, or I can give samples on request.
General information about myself;
I am currently 23 years old and 6ft 4in tall (both numbers are likely to increase over time, one moreso than the other). XD I have a massive love for mathematics and physics (and yes, I'm a Portal geek~). Poissbly, my biggest video game "idol" is the Intelligence Dampening Core, Wheatley from Portal 2~ <3
I am, occupationally, a bartender (one of my loves in life for some reason...), but have been persuing roles in voice acting for a few years. Of course, persuing does not mean "obtained" and I have had little time to focus on it over the passed couple of years, but I feel I am now ready to start talking to myself once again.
