{{int:}} usage

I suspect usage of this heavily slows down wiki because I assume it somehow messes with caches and everytime you go on some page it causes it be fully rebuild each time. Changed the whole content of Uselang to en and it seems stuff is loading much faster. There's also note about :int on this wiki page Magic_words saying "Note that this can damage / confuse cache consistency in MediaWiki 1.17 and earlier, see T16404." even though this wiki uses 1.31. When I edit and click 'show preview' on page like CBaseAnimating while the uselang was replaced with just 'en' the CPU time usage showed like 1.6 seconds. Now after I reverted my uselang edit the 'show preview' is showing CPU time usage 11.278 seconds. Nescius (talk) 02:45, 3 July 2024 (PDT)

While that edit was active, the Main Page also showed a brown banner saying the page isn't translated to my language (... english) so "it'll be showing me the english version". Cvoxalury (talk) 02:48, 3 July 2024 (PDT)
