Good article. I was already somewhat worried that I had to learn a whole new modelling package (XSI) to get started for HL2, but it's a relief that good ol' Milkshape suffices for low-poly stuff. Unsigned comment added by Captain P (talkcontribs) Always sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~)

Just finished editing it. A lot of it was outdated, and seemed to relate to creating shortcuts and shell commands instead of detailing the differences between Goldsource and Source models. It didn't really talk about .SMD stuff much either. --Campaignjunkie (talk) 13:29, 29 Jul 2006 (PDT)

Don't know if it's just my computer, but Hammer for Source doesn't support MAP files, just RMFs. It SAYS Worldcraft MAPs, but it crashes when it actually tries to open them. (It says at the bottom it is compatible.) --Anotheruser67 17:25, 16 March 2012 (PDT)
