I tried to edit this page and got

A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:
   (SQL query hidden)
from within function "SearchUpdate::doUpdate". MySQL returned error "1034: Incorrect key file for table 'mw_searchindex'; try to repair it (localhost)".

the edit was saved though. - NickH

Merge

Merge Complete

I think they should stay separate because working and good are two different things...and introducing so many things at once may not be helpful to new mappers—ts2do 22:10, 7 Apr 2006 (PDT)
Even after the merger, the article will not be as long as some of the "basic" articles around here.. Like Leaks Explained, for example.. So that't won't be a problem IMO. I just think the articles are so similar they should be merged to one "Guide to successful mapping" or something. Jupix 01:37, 8 Apr 2006 (PDT)
At least finish what you were doing and don't leave duplicates of text in both articles, because the merge is not complete. --Andreasen 02:40, 8 Apr 2006 (PDT)
At the risk of sounding a bit anachronistic (2 years later...): I think both pages are quite fine and since they do refer to different things, perhaps the need to merge them has gone away. The focus on this article is far more technical than the other one anyway, so merging the two would seem odd I guess. Perhaps put a reference in this article to link to the other one? --Etset 17:56, 12 Jan 2008 (PST)
Is there a need for the Merge notice still? Daworm 04:22, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
