I think that maybe the videocard bit on this age might be old now, as not too many people still have old cards. I'm not just saying that due to the cards i have, but alot of the drivers have been updated via Nvidia and even ATI, so maybe we should change all this around, including that Nvidia no longer uses that panel for settings.--Gear 20:43, 21 Nov 2007 (PST)

Over-complicated

I think that this page might be getting a little over-complicated. I've taken two successful screenshots so far and all I did was press F4 and save it. My guess is that the whole process described on the page is only necessary when you're color correcting or adjusting the brightness of the screenshot or something. EDIT: I just reread the page and realized that what I explained above was why the article-maker made the page. --Nathaniel 02:19, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Cloudflare bug

For some weird reasons, this page now triggered Cloudflare script blocked message after I done the recent edit then try to Edit and saving the new one, this also happen when I preview the edited page, which itself was just unchanged aside from (update) template moved to bottom ATI section. Purging the page, replacing <code>(text)</code> with {{code|(text)}}, removing that large broken image doesnt solve any problems, but blanking whole page works (Preview page). It didn't happen previously less than a minute ago...

EDIT: Only the Graphics quality section seems to be affected if you try to edit that, other one isn't affected at all.

Cloudflare reacted to (select in (select hl2.exe/Half-Life 2). I fixed this by placing "select" inside <nowiki></nowiki>.

What is the post processing section on about?

Why does it claim you need to correct the brightness to "make the screenshot appear more as it did in-game"? There would be something very wrong with the game's screenshot function if the file ended up looking different.

I understand that brightness sliders are used often by anyone editing photos, but that's not longer about the taking screenshots in the source engine, it's just a GIMP tutorial making up the largest section of the article.
