3D View "System Instability"
This comment was obviously written back in HL1 times as illustrated by the ancient crate texture shown in the diagram. No one maps in wireframe mode or even untextured mode. It doesn't make things any more unstable then hammer is with textures drawn as they are loaded either way for display in the texture browser. --Omnicoder 01:36, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

. Please note that "last" means "at the end", and in this case refers to 3D lighting preview and 3D raytrace preview, which are extremely unstable. I've restored the comment again. Casuing slow downs and causing instability are two different things. 3D lighting preview simply doesn't work, everything is way too dark, and it slows things down but it caused no instability in any testing I did. 3D Raytrace also did not show the lighting even close to properly, so I'm just changing it to say that neither of them work. --Omnicoder 10:19, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

3D Lighting Preview and 3D Ray-traced Preview
I've got the Portal 2 beta Authoring Tools which includes a version of Hammer that, however, doesn't show the abovementioned 3D options. I was wondering if they still appear in Source SDK. If they have been canceled because of the stability issues, the article should be amended accordingly.
