A game mode idea

Have you guys ever played the card game "Bang!" before? I think it could be the basis of a really cool game mode. You have four different player classes: the Sheriff, the Deputies, the Outlaws, and the Renegades. The Sheriff and the Deputies have to kill the Outlaws and the Renegades, the Outlaws have to kill the Sheriff, and the Renegades have to kill everyone.

The thing is, no one knows anyone else's class role, except the Sheriff who is visible to everyone. So, the Sheriff comes to a dilemma: who is a Deputy, who is an Outlaw, and who is a Renegade? Outlaws might want to kill each other so one can masquerade as a Deputy to get close to the Sheriff, because the Sheriff would see him killing Outlaws and start trusting him. Or maybe if the Outlaws killed most of the Deputies, the Renegade might want to help the Sheriff to even out the teams and masquerade as a Deputy. There's a lot of social strategy to this setup. Anyway, just an idea. Good job on releasing! --Campaignjunkie (talk) 13:40, 26 Dec 2007 (PST)

Thank you for the suggestion Campaignjunkie! I like the social theme in multiplayer games but that's a major departure from FoF must say. I personally had great fun with The Ship (similar theme I guess, less complex) but I think it doesn't connect well with younger people who use to play mods. We'll have new game modes quite probably, but far away from social game rules. I also had the idea of making some sort of multiplayer RPG with the assets and maps from our game, but I really doubt that one will see the light of day. --AOliver 07:18, 27 Dec 2007 (PST)
