This is what I think a mod article should look like. It gives the information in brief, and points the reader to the mod's website. Well done. —Maven (talk) 05:46, 7 Oct 2005 (PDT)

Q: Did the Dystopia team get permission from Valve to distribute CS:S content?
The use of CS:S content in HL2 mods has been a hot topic.
Any answer will be very much appreciated. ;-) --wisemx 06:18, 7 Oct 2005 (PDT)

A: Yes. While we were visiting Valve's office back in Feb we made sure that we weren't breaking any rules by using CS:S assets along with HL2 assets. We were told that Valve had no issue with this and encouraged us to make use of any of their content which we required, stating that it was stupid for mod teams to attempt to recreate the proverbial wheel. —Fuzzy (talk) 22 Oct 2005

Q: What's the best way to use CS:S content in a HL2 mod? GCFScape the models/textures out of their respective .GCFs and stick copies of them into your own mod, or some other way?
