- Makkon's Textures (TGA) - Tiling textures and trimsheets designed to be used at 1.0 scale with unfiltered textures. Demonstration of intended usage
- Simon O'Callaghan's ("Sock's") textures and skyboxes (TGA) - Designed for Quake III, but easily adapted to Source
- Reiner's tilesets (PNG, JPG) - mix of tiled and untiled
- Wikimedia Commons - large library of various images.
- Gamebanana (Recommendation: search textures in the Source Engine and Gamebanana sections)
