Isn't this pretty much the same idea as the stub category?—Pon t3h p0ny >_> (talk) 18:08, 2 Nov 2005 (PST)
Yeah, maybe. It's just a bit more specific, because each article here has text in it that says what needs done. That might be an advantage for, say, people who want to contribute to the wiki but don't know what needs done. <shrug> —Maven (talk) 18:25, 2 Nov 2005 (PST)
- Indeed. Maybe if we put in sub-stubs or whatever they are, like in Wikipedia? I'm sure that that would help a bit.—Pon t3h p0ny >_> (talk) 18:29, 2 Nov 2005 (PST)
- It's the difference between "I have an hour or two to kill, maybe I'll rewrite a stub", versus "I don't have time to deal with this last little detail, I'll just slap a todo on it and let someone else do the dirty work". --Demented 18:47, 2 Nov 2005 (PST)
- And the latter attitude may be a bit of a problem. (I'm already guilty of doing it...) But I doubt that stubs types will help. For one thing, not everything that's a TODO is a stub—there can easily be a small TODO in the middle of a gigantic article (eg, Optimization (Geometry)). —Maven (talk) 19:06, 2 Nov 2005 (PST)
